Please note that at all Eucharists this year the bread only is distributed. Midnight Mass Christmas Eve, 11pm The first Eucharist of Christmas with carols and music sung by the beautiful voices of the Cathedral Choir. President: The Bishop of St Albans. Preacher: The Sub Dean. Christmas Day Christmas Day Eucharist, 9.30am A Christmas Day service for all ages, sung by the Cathedral Girls Choir and men of the Cathedral Choir. President: The Dean. President: The Bishop of St Albans. Preacher: The Dean. Due to reduced capacity within the Cathedral, all Christmas Day Eucharists are ticketed. All tickets are free of charge, available using the booking system below. Ticket bookings are capped at 4 within your household bubble. Information around the format of our ticketed services can be found here. General booking will be released on Tuesday 15 December at 10am. On the day: Please enter via the Welcome Centre (Sumpter Yard, AL1 1BY). Everyone is required to wear a face covering unless they have a medical exemption. Please be seated by 15 minutes before the service starts, and remain seated for the duration of the service. Please show your ticket on your smart phone upon arrival, or bring a printed copy of your ticket. Unfortunately, visitor parking is not available at St Albans Cathedral. Details of the closest city centre car parks are available on the St Albans City and District Council website. We have limited disabled parking at the Cathedral.
