Worship Christmas A Tale on Christmas Eve Join us for a family friendly festive story time as we tell the story of Papa Panov. Come and hear the magical story of ‘Papa Panov’s Special Day’ read by candlelight in the Cathedral Nave. Put on your mittens and woolly scarves and get yourselves ready for Christmas with the sound of carol singing and the soothing words of a classic story. Time: 1pm & 2.30pm There will be two services for A Tale on Christmas Eve, please only attend one. Due to reduced capacity within the Cathedral, A Tale on Christmas Eve is ticketed. All tickets are free of charge, available using the booking system below. Ticket bookings are capped at 4 within your household bubble. General booking will be released on Monday 14 December at 10am. 📹 A pre-recorded Tale on Christmas Eve will be available to watch on YouTube from Thursday 24 December at 1pm: https://www.youtube.com/user/stalbanscathedral On the day: Please enter via the Welcome Centre (Sumpter Yard, AL1 1BY). Everyone is required to wear a mask unless they have a medical exemption. Please be seated by 15 minutes before the start of the event, and remain seated for the duration of the service. Please show your ticket on your smart phone upon arrival, or bring a printed copy of your ticket. Unfortunately, visitor parking is not available at St Albans Cathedral. Details of the closest city centre car parks are available on the St Albans City and District Council website. We have limited disabled parking at the Cathedral.
