Each year the Cathedral welcomes visiting choirs from across the Diocese, the UK, and from overseas.
Visiting Choirs
When the Cathedral Choir and Abbey Girls Choir are on leave, the Cathedral welcomes visiting choirs from around the country and abroad to help maintain a regular pattern of choral services.
Available dates for Visiting Choirs usually coincide with school holidays and half-terms. The Diary is planned at least a year in advance, but it is always worth contacting us at any time to discuss availability.
We do ask Visiting Choirs to provide a recording in advance, especially prior to their first visit here.

We do not have any vacancies for 2012.
The following available dates in 2013 are listed below. Please note that this list of dates is updated regularly, but please check availability with the Cathedral Office first (details below) before discussing dates with the members of your choir.

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August 2013
4pm Evensong on Saturday and 11.15am Choral Eucharist & 6.30pm Evensong
For all Weekend dates, we ask all Visiting Choirs to sing on both days (Saturday & Sunday), full details are included in our notes for visiting choirs.
