A popular meeting place
Located on the ground floor of the Chapter House, the Café at the Abbey provides a popular meeting place and refreshment venue for local residents and visitors, who can be assured of a warm welcome.
We offer a self-service buffet selection of beverages, light snacks, hot and cold home made lunches and afternoon teas.
Where possible we aim to source local produce, seasonal ingredients and fair traded products.
The café is also available as a venue for special events, functions and group tours.

Alban Originals are a range of locally produced foods, some from the Abbey kitchens, others from growers and suppliers close to the the Abbey or, where ever possible, in the diocese. The range is ever changing as items go in and out of season, Alban Spiced Buns are only ever available in Easter week.
