The Festival Pilgrimage re-enacts the martyrdom of Alban through a dramatized procession with carnival puppets. Come and join this festival celebration and meet our new Alban. Photos of this year's event are now available to view in our Festival Pilgrimage Photo Gallery.

Evening Pilgrimage

Come and Rediscover your Cathedral

The Cathedral has restructured its programme of special evening pilgrimages for parishes and deaneries. These take place on a series of Wednesday evenings, and include a light buffet, a prayer tour of the building, Compline by candlelight in the Quire, and a visit to the Shrine of St Alban.

Dates for Autumn 2010 are yet to be confirmed.

Please note: Places will be limited.

There is parking available for the disabled at the Cathedral. Local NCP car parks are free after 6:30pm.

Easter Monday Pilgrimage

The Easter Monday Pilgrimage each year brings pilgrims from all across the diocese, mostly on foot, to celebrate the resurrection in an informal act of all age worship. Next years date is Monday 25th April 2011.
