Donations

If you would like to make a donation to support the work of Cathedral please click the 'Donate' button above. Unless you specify otherwise this money will be used to help cover the general day to day expenses of running and maintaining the Cathedral.

The Cathedral relies heavily on donations both from those who come to St Albans and from those who are unable to visit us in person.

Making a donation

You may wish to donate directly to the Cathedral or perhaps through one of the Charitable Trusts or the Fraternity of Friends of the Abbey that each support aspects of our work.

If you donate to the Cathedral, unless you specify otherwise the money will be used to fund our general day to day activities.

Make a donation:

  • The Music Trust
  • The Cathedral Trust (Fabric)
  • The Education Trust
  • The Fraternity of Friends of Saint Albans Abbey

Whichever opportunity you choose, please remember that if you are a UK tax payer, by Gift Aiding your donation we can re-claim at least a further 28% from the Government, without any cost to you.

Becoming a volunteer

Over 800 people give their time and skills to help the Cathedral provide a warm welcome to visitors and worshippers.

There are a range of opportunities for those who wish to help.
